3.2.24 Felted Neysa Russo Tapestries with Kathryn Bourque

Have you seen the incredible Neysa Russo Tapestry kits for felting, but felt intimidated? Now is the time to learn how to make one with other aspiring felters.  Instructor Kathryn Bourque will help you unpack and begin felting any Neysa Russo tapestry kit of your choosing. We will use what is at hand and then go beyond by experimenting with  needle choices, work surfaces, and wool backings. We will discuss tips for making a great 2 dimensional piece. This workshop will get you started on this 2D art form and inspire you to finish at home with ease and newly acquired skills. 

Cost is $65 for the class, including use of shop tools.  You may purchase your Neysa Russo kit ahead of time HERE. Choose in-store pick up to not be charged shipping. We will hold your kit for you until you arrive for class.

If you have previously purchased a kit you may bring that instead.  Or you can pick out a kit right before class begins.

Kathryn is owner of Get a Grip Felting Needles and has taught classes at the Common Ground Fair, Montessori school, Pineland Farms, as well as other venues and has felted  anything you can think of!  

Neysa Russo is a felter and owner of The Felting Studio.  She creates the kits we will be using in class with her permission.

Class Cancelation Policy:

If you cancel more than 30 days before the beginning of your class, we will offer you store credit in the amount of your class.  Cancelation with less than 30 days notice will result in the forfeiture of your entire course fee.  However, if we are able to fill your spot, we will offer store credit in the amount of the class. 

If we cancel a class, you can choose to receive a full refund or store credit.
